Go Tan Emping Chips Salted are very artisanal melindjo nut chips. After harvesting the melindjo trees in gardens on Java, the nuts are ripened in baskets, collected in the middle of the village and jointly popped, peeled and crushed by hand. Together they are then dried in the sun and shipped directly to the Netherlands. At the arrival they are baked in sunflower oil until golden brown an directly packaged. One chip consists of three to five seeds. Go Tan family business has been the specialist in Asian food for decades. Emping is eaten with an Asian meal or simply as a snack.
